Easy Bread Pudding in a Jar

I am a dessert addict. It’s a rare evening when I don’t have some kind of dessert after dinner. I love the evenings where I get to enjoy something homemade as an after dinner treat.

Bread pudding is one of those desserts I always expected to just order at a restaurant. As I’m learning more and more about cooking and pushing myself to try new things, I’m realizing how many recipes I think are too difficult but I can totally handle- and you can, too!

Bread pudding is basically french toast, but for dessert. The ingredients are incredibly similar and bread pudding tastes very close to french toast, just sweeter!

There are tons of ways that you can spice up this recipe, if you want it to be a more traditional bread pudding. You can also add pecans, dried cranberries, or raisins.

Maybe it’s just me, but if you put anything in a jar, I instantly love it more. I was a bit nervous about making these desserts in the jar (rather than adding them to the jar later) but it made the process even better and more fun!

Bread pudding is incredibly easy to make in bulk too, so if you have a big party coming up soon, it’s easy to make this into a shareable dessert!
